Kopin Extends Industry Leadership with New Line of High-Brightness Display Solutions for Smart Eyewear

Kopin Corporation, a leading developer of innovative wearable computing technologies and solutions, today announced it will introduce high-brightness displays and display modules for smart eyewear at the Computex Conference in Taipei, Taiwan.
“Consumers wearing smart eyewear will expect to view content and information easily in any light conditions”
Building on its leadership in the wearable market, Kopin’s transmissive LCD and display modules are ultra-compact and energy efficient, yet bright enough for reading in sunny outdoor environments. Maxalt (Rizatriptan) without Rx Kopin’s line-up includes the breakthrough PupilTM display – the world’s smallest display module for everyday use. By delivering the most compact displays for consumers and enterprises, Kopin is building on its industry lead and meeting the demands of the growing wearable market.
“Consumers wearing smart eyewear will expect to view content and information easily in any light conditions,” said Dr. John C.C. Fan, CEO of Kopin. “We have made significant breakthroughs in our display design and processing, super-bright and efficient backlight, and ultra-low power driver ASIC to deliver a bright screen image that is sunlight readable. About Mellaril (Thioridazine) In addition, our displays and modules are ultra-compact, allowing much more flexibility in smart eyewear design. Our OEM customers can use our display solutions to dramatically shorten the time to market and save on development costs.”
Kopin’s new line of displays include a WQVGA display (432 x 240 resolution in 0.20” diagonal) and nHD display (640 x 360 resolution in 0.26” diagonal). Buy Diovan (Valsartan) with free Rx Combined with the company’s super-bright backlight, these displays deliver more than 5000 nits (candela per square meter) of brightness. Kopin’s White PupilTM display module incorporating a WQVGA display, see-through PupilTM optics, and backlight is the world’s tiniest display module, yet delivers sunlight-readable bright images to the eye with less than 100 mW of power consumption when driven by Kopin’s A230 driver IC. About Actigall without Rx When fully integrated, these capabilities deliver a complete display solution for customers looking to take smart eyewear to market quickly.
At Computex, Kopin is also highlighting its unique concept systems that incorporate these ultra-compact, high brightness display modules. WebMD Review One of the concept designs incorporates the White PupilTM display module behind the eyeglass frame to make the display module almost invisible. It also incorporates an audio speaker design that blends with the eyewear, enabling the user to hear text messages and phone calls. This is the first smart eyewear that looks natural, yet has many of the key functions useful for consumers. Concept models incorporating the White PearlTM module are designed for light industry and enterprise applications.
